Duties & Responsibilities:

This is an excellent opportunity to be at the forefront of international regulatory development and to play a role to help drive the Commission’s international policy and sustainable finance work.

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in the Commission’s participation in standard setting and policy formulation of international organisations, in identifying international regulatory and sustainability issues with domestic implications and in advising on positioning strategy.

You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals working with regulators and financial markets globally and locally to assist the Commission in implementing its international and sustainability strategy.

Requirements:

To succeed in this position, you must have a university degree and professional qualification in Finance, Economics or Law together with at least 5 years of solid post-qualification experience in the securities sector.

Familiarity with regulatory development of major financial markets as well as with sustainable finance will be an advantage.

You are expected to communicate effectively our regulatory positions, and interact with regulatory bodies and the industry internationally and locally.

You are expected to be a team player and to multi-task. You also need excellent written and spoken English as well as proficiency in Chinese language.
