豁免资格制度是为经常在企业融资谘询业务中参与《公司收购、合并及股份回购守则》（以下简称两份守则）所规管的交易的集团而设。在适当情况下，如果基金经理及自营买卖商所进行的活动是独立于企业融资业务及不受其影响，则收购执行人员会向基金经理及自营买卖商给予豁免资格。
获取豁免资格，即表示收购执行人员通常不会将相关基金经理或自营买卖商视为与集团的企业客户采取一致行动。
获豁免基金经理指以全权委托方式管理投资帐户，并就该两份守则的目的而言获取豁免资格的人。
如何申请
获豁免自营买卖商指在要约期内进行收购执行人员同意的若干交易活动而以自营方式买卖证券，并就该两份守则的目的而言获取豁免资格的人。
