证监会先后接获市民的查询及投诉，指有人讹称是证监会代表。在一些个案中，自称为证监会职员的人士曾招揽投资者购买股票、参与投资计划或缴交税款。有些更出示印有证监会标志的伪造名片、职员证或文件，讹称是在代表证监会。
如有声称来自证监会的人士要求你作出投资或付款，请勿与该人交易，并请致电香港警方的防骗易热线18222，或向你所在地的执法机构举报。
如何保护自己
为免成为假冒骗案的受害人，请时刻紧记：
如有任何自称是证监会职员的人士要求你购买股票、参与投资计划或缴交税款，切勿向他们付款。
